The cheeky quote from a few minute ago...
...it really gave me a chuckle. It's partially obscene, and pure hilarity. That is if you have the same twisted sense of humor I do. So without further ado:
"I believe in my cosmetics line. There are plenty of charities for the homeless. Isn't it time someone helped the homely?" ~Dolly Parton
I know that there is volumes wrong with her statement, but I can't help but give a little giggle...

I have an addiction Sir!
...an addiction to sparkly, scrumptious, shiny glitter glue, particularly of the stickles variety... Yummy!!! You'll see what I am talking about as you see the pics below...
Anywho, the first card I did today was for Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge. The movie this week is: One of my all time favorites! They also gave an optional sketch to follow here:
Whew... it has been a busy crafting day... Well, I'm off to watch Mary Poppins with the kids and my mom who's visiting... Don't worry though, I'll be back soon!! :)

I liked the sketch and also wanted to try my hand at hand with design studio and my Cricut yet again... This is what I ended up with:
I liked the sketch so much I did another card, following the suggestion for a card inspired by the zoo from The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge Blog. This one is for my besest's son's 1st bday coming up this week:
See my latest purchase, yummy, sugar-coated brads:

Sweet Tags, pencil cups, and some more snow....
So, here's some stuff I have been working on...
First up are Valentine's Day Tags for Zachary to take to school:
He helped with the design and putting the flowers together. The flowers , tags, rectangular background, and the sentiment were all cut using the George cartridge for the Cricut and Design Studio. The cupcakes were originally a solo stamp, but I thought it needed company, so I stamped, cut out, stamped again, and again, and again... Then I placed the singular cutout on top of the cupcke and I stamped and stamped another on each side to make a yummy trio. I colored them with colored pencils, and then cut then out and popped them on with foamies. I added some heart brads and the piece de resistance... sparkly dark pink glitter glue. Yeah! Here's what each tag looks like:
I did finally, after weeks of waiting, get my Cricut cartridges in the mail yesterday, but I haven't had time to play just yet. The cartridges I got were ZooBalloo, Paper Doll Dress Up, Paper Pups, and Home Accents Solutions. I can't wait to try them out! TTFN!!

I also decorated my pencil cups, I picked up the DCWV Summer Stack a few days ago, as it was deeply discounted and decided to jazz up my coffee can pen cups. You likey?
